Welcome back to another season of Grande Cache Minor Baseball.... REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.

*** 5U and 7U will be split into 2 teams. Once this occurs, Team 1 and 2 will be assigned to either Diamond 3 or 4.***

*** 9U will be split into 3 teams. Each practice day 2 teams will play a game on Diamond 2 while the other practices on Diamond 1. This will rotate.***

CRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS (REVISED FOR 2025)

• All coaches are required to submit a Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check every 3 years. Record checks from other organizations will be accepted. If a coaches criminal record check status changes within those 3 years it is expected that GCMBA will be notified.

WHATS NEW FOR THIS YEAR

One of our Association goals is to improve each and every season. A few highlights of what to expect this year as we continue to grow:

• NCCP Coaching Clinics. SHEEN BROMLEY, Baseball Alberta's Technical Director will be in Grande Cache at the end of April to put on 3 in-person clinics. These clinics are geared towards coaches with little to no experience as well as those who have played ball their whole lives but may need a refresher on how to properly convey the fundamentals. • The addition of a 12U Female team to our already existing 14U Female team. Both teams will be joining the BAGL Baseball Alberta Girls League.
• Last year we attended Hinton's 9U Baseball Day Jamboree. We expect the same this year with the potential of attending Edson's 9U Jamboree.
• 11U, 13U, and 15U have the opportunity to participate in the Edson and Hinton house league tournaments which would be 2 weekends of baseball action.

REGISTRATION OVERVIEW

*** In order for the female teams to go ahead we do need at least 10 registrants at each level. If that number isn't achieved the player would be moved to their respective 11U, 13U, or 15U team***

REFUNDS WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNLESS LOW REGISTRATION NUMBERS RESULT IN THERE NOT BEING A TEAM FOR YOUR CHILD

It is GCMBA's intention to provide as much notice as possible to cancel practices due to adverse weather. However, with weather being unpredictable, practices and games may be cancelled with little to no notice. We ask you to please be patient and understand that GCMBA will provide an update as soon as possible. ***Even if it's pouring on one side of town it may be dry at the diamonds and vice versa***
